1. Why is Annabeth upset with Percy for risking his life on the bus?
   Because they didn't want Medusa to turn anymore people into stone.


2. What does Aunty Em look like when she opens the door?

    A tall Middle Eastern woman.

3. How does Percy explain why he went into the garden gnome emporium? Does this explanation make sense to you?

  Percy said "go ahead call me an idiot for walking into a lady's shop just because I was hungry and I have smelt Aunty Em's burgers. The smell of burgers is laughing gas, and yes i would have done the exact same thing is I was hungry.

4. Why does Grover start to get nervous at the emporium? (There are several reasons)

    Grover starts getting nervous because he thinks that Percy is tired, and so he's getting scared.


5. How can you tell that Percy isn’t thinking straight after he eats his meal?

  Because of how he is acting, you can tell something is wrong.  

6. Did you guess Aunty Em’s true identity before Percy did? If so, what clues gave her away?




    Annabeth, and they couldn't run because then she would really do something to them.


7. Why does Annabeth say they have to kill Medusa? Why can’t they just run away?

   Because Medusa is evil, and they couldn't run away because if she caught them again she would slice them into bits.

8. Medusa’s head doesn’t disintegrate along with the rest of her. Why not?

   Probably because, she is a monster and maybe all monster's heads don't disintegrate.


9. What important information does Percy find in Medusa’s office?

      He finds the bill from the underworld.


10. Why do you think Percy sends Medusa’s head to Mount Olympus? Do you think this is a good idea?


  Yes, and he probably sent the head to Mount Olympus to get it out of the way, so that he doesn't have to deal with it.
